If you haven’t tried “Intrepid Ibex”, you really should!
A completely free, wonderfully put together operating system. It rivals Windows (and Mac) in almost every aspect.
If we were to deploy it at work on the same desktop hardware platform, the comparison would be something along the lines of:
- Windows Desktop w/ MS Project and MS Office: $1050
- Ubuntu Desktop w/Open Project and Open Office: $0
