On the road again today for about 7 hours, heading to St Louis. Along the way we passed through
the rest of Ohio (South and West of Columbus) on i70. We traveled through Indiana and stopped for lunch outside of Indianapolis at our very first White Castle burger joint. It was fun! the burgers were tiny but only 76 Cents each . They were tasty and fun! I ate four… 😉
We were back on the road and ended up stopping for an hour in Terra Haute for a much needed get-outa-the-car rest stop. Walked around the mall just to stretch our legs.
Then it was another couple of hours to St Louie. jess got us another great hotel via Hotwire and we are nested in here to recoup for an extra day. We are going to take friday and visit the Zoo and several other local attractions.
We are prepping for the 13.5 hour burn across Kansas to Denver on Saturday. That is going to be a hec of a trip!
