Clear Black Sky
One of the advantages of living in the high-desert is that at 5000 plus feet, we have incredibly clear night skies. The only place I have ever been where the stars have been brighter is the middle of the Mojave.

Pow! Zoom!
Just to see this thing work would be amazing! Details in the paper discuss using ‘ultraviolet argon ion lasers’ to create fusion. The lasers are powered by setting off high explosives around a core of solid argon… Way cool!
